Instructions for Amplitude Shift Keying Modulation (ASK)
- Step 1: Click on 'Generate Message' button to generate input message signal
- Step 2: Then click on 'Generate Carrier' button to generate carrier signal
- Step 3: You can change the carrier signal frequency from the input field
- Step 4: Click on 'Simulate ASK' button to generate Amplitude Shift Keying Signal
Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK) Demodulation (Synchronous Demodulation)
ASK→Multiplier→LPF→Comparator→DataBit 1 / carrier present → multiplier produces a DC component → LPF keeps that DC component → high output. Bit 0 / carrier absent → multiplier produces no DC component → LPF output is low (approximately 0). The low-pass filter removes the high-frequency 2f_c component.
